Although her singing style is deeply rooted in the Connemara tradition of sean-nós singing, she proudly identifies as a Dublin sean-nós singer. Róisin has received numerous honours at fleadhanna cheoil and has performed on stages both nationally and internationally with various bands and artists, including Gerry O'Connor, Salsa Celtica, The Bonny Men, and At First Light. She is currently working on her debut album, which she hopes to release in the coming year. An outstanding exponent of sean-nós singing, Róisin's unique style has been shaped by the late Séamus Mac Mathúna and his wife Úna, who inspired her to create her own interpretations of classic Irish songs.

Róisin's talent has taken her around the world, where she has performed as a soloist and as the lead singer with the acclaimed traditional music group, The Bonny Men. She has collaborated with renowned artists such as Liam Ó Maonlaí, Bríghde Chaimbeul, Aidan O'Rourke, Steve Cooney, and Martin Hayes, showcasing her distinctive voice across a range of musical projects. Her performances have been featured on national radio and television, and in 2020, she was included in the soundtrack of Ruán Magan's powerful documentary, "The Hunger."

Now based in Belfast, Róisin continues to inspire and teach the art of sean-nós singing while further developing her extraordinary style. Don't miss the opportunity to experience Róisin Chambers' captivating sean-nós singing in The Garden Where The Praties Grow.
